Geneva

Tourists and locals alike both find Geneva to be calm and restful part of Adams County. The quaint and quiet community of Geneva was incorporated on January 27, 1874. Although Geneva is small town, it has much to boast!

Geneva was the home of one of Indiana's most famous female authors, Gene (Geneva) Stratton-Porter. Her historic home, the Limberlost Cabin, is now an Indiana State Historic Site and is open to the public.

Geneva was also home to Adams County's only Olympic Athlete, Robert L. Juday. Bob was a 1919 graduate of Geneva High School and a member of the 1924 U.S. Olympic team for the high jump. He was among the first athletes to use the "roll" method instead of the "scissors" style of jumping.
